I enjoyed capturing the unique architecture of the Cathedral of St. Andrew the Apostle from a different perspective that included part of the town. I worked to frame and center the other church in the beautiful window. Amalfi, Italy.
I wanted to capture the patterns of the salt mines on the Northern coast of Gozo, Malta. Although I didn't capture the patterns as I had hoped, I was excited to see this lone figure collecting the salt with his buckets. Although he didn't smile, he nodded his "okay" for a photo and continued working. Gozo, Malta.
My cruise ship was just pulling intot he port of Barcelona when I noticed this colorful cargo ship in port. The blue hour seemed to make the colors glow. I liked how the colorful port cranes complemented the cargo ship and the blue hour coloring.
Rome was hot. It was the Jubilee Year and mid summer, but rising before dawn provided the opportunity to capture images of the city before the tourists filled the streets.
